American Home Technology (AHT) specializes in custom design, development and implementation of home electronic and automation systems in northern Michigan and across the state, with expertise in home theater, audio & video, lighting & climate control, digital phone & camera systems, home networking, and remote management.

AHT is locally owned and operated and has proudly served homeowners in northern Michigan since 1999. The primary AHT service area includes the following counties: Antrim, Benzie, Charlevoix, Cheboygan, Emmet, Grand Traverse, Kalkaska, Leelanau, Mackinac, Manistee, and Wexford, but AHT also provides service across the state and around the country.

AHT is a direct dealer with the industry’s top manufacturers, including Bang & Olufsen, Control4, Creston, Lutron, Luxul, Monitor Audio, Sonos, Vantage and Wilson Cellular Amplifiers.

AHT is the only professional installation firm registered in Northern Michigan with CEDIA certified personnel on staff. CEDIA represents 3,700 member companies worldwide and serves more than 30,000 industry professionals that manufacture, design, and integrate goods and services for the connected home.
